Eligibility for Gaokao Students Scholarship

To be eligible for Gaokao Students Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the requirement below:

  • Eligible Nationalities: China
  • Applicants have to be international students (not New Zealand citizen, Australian citizen, or permanent resident of Australia).
  • Applicants must have finished Senior Secondary School (Gao San) in China and embark on the Gaokao administrated by Provincial or Municipal Education Examination Authority, China.
  • Applicants must satisfy all admission criteria for the selected undergraduate degree course.
  • Applicants must have finished the Gaokao with a good score, no longer than one year previous to starting at UTS, and be admitted based on this qualification.
  • Applicant must start full-time and on-campus (Sydney)[1].
  • Applicants should not:
    • be studying a UTS online degree or distance degree
    • be a government sponsored student
    • be a recipient of another UTS scholarship for the duration of this Scholarship

How to apply for Gaokao Students Scholarship

To avail Gaokao Students Scholarship, please follow the guidelines below:

  • The program will inevitably consider all incoming international scholars from China who have accomplished the Gaokao no longer than one year previous to starting at UTS and are applying for an undergraduate program at UTS.
  • Submissions of qualified applicants will be submitted to a Scholarships Selection Board, which will carry out the selection of beneficiaries, usually in September/October for the Autumn session.
